Welcome to Desert Skies Portal. By using our portal and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

  • You must be a registered student, instructor, independent CFI workspace owner, school administrator, or authorized user.

2. Use of the Portal

  • The portal is for educational, scheduling, billing, and training-record workflows related to flight training.
  • Do not share your login credentials or allow unauthorized access.
  • You are responsible for keeping your information accurate and up to date.
  • Third-Party Integrations: When connecting external services (such as Google Calendar), you grant us permission to access and use that data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Training Records & Compliance

  • All training records, flight logs, and documents must be accurate and truthful.
  • Falsification of records is grounds for dismissal and may be reported to regulatory authorities.
  • Independent CFI workspace owners are responsible for their own instruction, FAA compliance, insurance, student relationships, and local operating practices. Desert Skies Portal provides software tools and does not become the student's instructor or flight school solely because the portal is used.

4. Conduct

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect.
  • Do not use the portal for harassment, abuse, or any unlawful activity.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, materials, and software are property of Desert Skies Aviation or its licensors.
  • Do not copy, distribute, or use materials outside of your training without permission.

6. Independent CFI Memberships

  • Founder-beta independent CFI memberships are subscription software access plans.
  • Stripe billing and Stripe Connect payout setup are handled by Stripe and may require separate Stripe agreements.
  • We may suspend access for non-payment, security concerns, abuse, or misuse of the platform.

7. Changes to Services

  • We may update or change portal features at any time to improve your experience or comply with regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We strive for accuracy and reliability, but the portal is provided "as is."
  • Desert Skies Portal is not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the portal.

9. Updates to Terms

  • These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the portal means you accept the new terms.
