Privacy Policy

Desert Skies Portal stores account, scheduling, billing, aircraft, training, and communication data needed to operate the portal.

Information We Process

  • Account details such as name, email, role, school or independent CFI workspace, and contact information.
  • Student onboarding information, including guardian details when required for minors.
  • Training records, mission notes, debriefs, documents, and progress data.
  • Billing identifiers from Stripe, including customer, subscription, Connect, and payment status references.
  • Optional calendar or integration data when users connect third-party services.

How We Use Data

  • To provide scheduling, onboarding, training records, billing, payout, and support workflows.
  • To enforce tenant isolation between flight schools and independent CFI workspaces.
  • To send operational emails, reminders, support responses, and account notices.
  • To troubleshoot, secure, and improve the portal.

Independent CFI Workspaces

Independent CFI workspace owners are separate operators. Their students' data is scoped to that workspace. The CFI is responsible for their own student relationship, instruction, compliance, and communications outside the portal.

Third-Party Services

The portal may use Supabase, Stripe, Resend, OpenAI, calendar providers, and other configured services. These services process data as needed to provide authentication, storage, payments, email, AI-assisted drafts, and integrations.

QuickBooks Online (DSA_API)

A separate private integration, DSA_API, may connect to our QuickBooks Online company files to read and write accounting data (accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, and transactions). That QuickBooks data is used only for our books. Tokens are stored on authorized operator machines, not in student portal records. Details: DSA_API privacy policy.

Data Access And Support

Platform operators may access tenant data for support, security, billing recovery, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. Support actions may be recorded in tenant settings for auditability.
